Welcome to our project on
Energy Resilience in Rural EU Regions

Rural Europe is facing an energy challenge. As electrification increases, outdated grids struggle to keep up, and rural communities are often left behind. These areas need effective solutions to become energy resilient and self-sufficient, but fragmented policies and limited resources make this difficult.

CIRCUS, "Connecting Initiatives for Rural Communities, Upscaling their Sustainable energy," is here to change that. Our project aims to improve the uptake
of previously developed tools, shaping them in a transnational,
accessible method
to help rural communities across Europe thrive.
We believe that by sharing knowledge and working together across borders,
we can make a real difference.

Through CIRCUS, we’re empowering rural citizens, farmers, and local leaders to take charge of their energy future. By enhancing energy efficiency and boosting local renewable energy production, we’re helping to create stronger, more vibrant communities.
